In her 20 years of experience managing organizations with budgets up $200 million, she has planned and executed numerous successful capital projects. From addressing failing infrastructure to overseeing new projects from inception though completion, she is well versed in the nuances of governmental procurement policies, navigating stringent regulations, and coping with bureaucracy.
Lori’s experience includes grant procurement at all levels of government, from the application process to administering
successful grants. She is familiar with SEQR, GEIS, and environmental regulations (DEC, BOH, PESH and OSHA), and has an in-depth understanding of the challenges associated with successful implementation of renewable energy projects. She uses agile management to guide her clients through the planning process, bonding requirements, and navigating inter-municipal boundaries to ensure that projects are achievable within the projected timeframe. Director of Operations Inez Maldonado possesses an impressive background in both public- and private-sector organizational management. Inez attended Iona college and majored in Accounting and Medical Technology. Having served as Administrative Assistant to three Town Supervisors, Inez knows her way around back-office systems. She has been responsible for the escrow accounts of one of Dutchess County’s largest towns and is knowledgeable about grant administration, RFP processing, working with EFC and Bidnet, property management, lease negotiations, all aspects of human resources, civil service requirements, payroll and health insurance compliance, workplace violence training, and employee professional development.
Inez has brought her office management skills along with her understanding of multifaceted operations to LAJ Management Solutions. She has the ability to assist your organization with the intricate details.
